VELORA Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement

Last Updated: June 12, 2026

Welcome to VELORA (the "Platform" or "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms" or "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the VELORA Service Provider ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our web application, relationship operating system, and secure client-side encrypted vault modules.

By registering an account, initiating a couple workspace, or using any part of the Service, you explicitly represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are strictly prohibited from accessing or using the Service.

1. Eligibility and Registration

To access and use VELORA, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. During the registration process, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

2. Cryptographic Architecture and User Responsibility Disclaimer

  • 2.1. Client-Side Encryption: VELORA operates under a strict Zero-Knowledge cryptographic framework. The files, notes, diary entries, and media you upload to the Memory Vault are encrypted client-side in your browser using the Advanced Encryption Standard in Galois/Counter Mode with 256-bit keys (AES-256-GCM) before being transmitted to our servers.
  • 2.2. Master Password & Recovery Phrase: The encryption keys are derived from your Master Password using PBKDF2/Argon2. We do not store, transmit, or have access to your Master Password or your local Paper Recovery Phrase.
  • 2.3. NO PASSWORD RECOVERY: BECAUSE WE HAVE NO ACCESS TO YOUR ENCRYPTION KEYS, WE CANNOT RESET YOUR PASSWORD, DECRYPT YOUR DATA, OR RECOVER YOUR FILES IF YOU LOSE YOUR MASTER PASSWORD OR RECOVERY PHRASE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT LOSS OF YOUR CREDENTIALS RESULTS IN THE PERMANENT, IRREVERSIBLE LOSS OF ALL DATA STORED WITHIN YOUR ENCRYPTED VAULT.

3. User Conduct and Content Boundaries

You retain full ownership of all text, images, files, and other materials you upload ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses to upload and store your User Content. You agree not to store, upload, or transmit any content that is illegal, infringes upon intellectual property rights, contains malicious code, or violates any applicable local, national, or international laws.

4. Subscription Plans, Fees, and Auto-Renewal

  • 4.1. Subscription Plans: Certain modules of VELORA (such as high-capacity Memory Vault uploads, video/audio timeline attachments, and pet registries) require a paid subscription (Plus, Premium, or Infinity plans).
  • 4.2. Billing: Subscription fees are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the selected plan. You authorize us to charge your registered payment method for all applicable fees.
  • 4.3. Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active at the current tier until the end of the current billing cycle, after which it will revert to the Free tier subject to storage capacity limitations.

5. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DATA CORRUPTION ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS VELORA AND ITS AFFILIATES FROM ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USER CONTENT OR VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service Provider is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of said region.
